The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views to SE and W. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as an oval-shaped earthwork defined by a scarp and annotated ‘fort’. Depicted on the 1876 ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork enclosed by a bank. Levelled monument described in 1971 as no surface remains visible. The site is suitable for a ringfort.
