The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views in most directions. Ringforts (WM026-013----/-011----) lie. c. 122m to SE and c. 157m to SW, respectively. Monument described in 1971 as an oval-shaped area (30m E-W; 29.5m N-S) enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. A gap (Wth at top 3.8m; basal Wth 1.7m) in the inner bank at E may represent the entrance. A wide gap in the inner bank at SW appears modern. The inner bank is high and steep and is best preserved at NNW. Elsewhere it is almost reduced to a scarp and it has several small disturbance gaps. There is a wide shallow fosse which is present all around yet is almost completely filled up from NW-N-E-SE. The outer bank is best preserved from S-W-NW, is absent from NW-N-E-SE and is quite degraded from SE-S and having a disturbance gap at WSW. Two old field banks intersect the site of the outer bank at NNW. The interior has a gentle E-facing slope. An irregular-shaped depression is located just inside the bank at SW and some stones are visible in the side of it although there is no definite indication that they are formally set.
