The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a prominent rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Ringforts (WM025-067----/-103----/-104----) lie c. 90m to NW, c. 140m to SSE and c. 200m to SE, respectively. Monument described in 1971 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 29m) enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. There is a wide gap (Wth at top 5.6m; basal Wth 3.6m) and a causeway (Wth at top 3.2m; overall Wth 5.7m; max. H 0.7m) at WNW, which may be relatively modern. The inner bank is high and steep on the exterior and is almost reduced to a scarp from NNW-N-E-SE and has several small disturbance gaps. There is a wide, deep and steep-sided outer fosse which is visible from S-W-NNW. There are the remains of an outer bank from SW-W-N-E-S, which has been slightly disturbed at NNW, where a later field bank cuts through it and contacts the outer lip of the fosse. The interior has a gentle ENE-facing slope with traces of old cultivation ridges running ENE-WSW. A very slight, irregular-shaped mound near the centre is probably a natural feature.
