The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the SE side of a hillock, in gently undulating pasture, with good views to SE and SW. Monument described as a much disturbed subcircular-shaped area (dims. 42.5m NW-SE) which is defined by two short portions of earth and stone bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.6m; Wth at top 0.6m; overall Wth 4.4m) visible from SW-NW and from SSE-SE with evidence of internal and external stone facing. A boulder is incorporated in the outer face of the bank at W and NW. There is no visible trace of an external fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. The interior has a gentle SE-facing slope with many stones protruding from the surface. Two modern field fences which meet at a point near the centre of the interior, separate the northern one third of the monument from the remainder. Two modern banks with a trench between them extend from the perimeter at SSW to the modern fences in the centre.
