The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise, in pasture, with good views in all directions. Monument described in 1977 as a rectangular-shaped area (dims. 18m NW-SE; 16m NE-SW) defined by a wide bank and external fosse well defined from S-SW-NW. The bank is low and the fosse is shallow from N-NE-SE. In general, the SW half of the monument is better preserved than the NE half. The interior has a SE-facing slope. Barely visible outline of levelled monument visible today on Digital Globe aerial photograph.
