The National Monuments Service's description
In 1837 the church was described as 'a neat modern building with a square tower, erected in 1811, by aid of a gift of £600 from the late Board of First Fruits' (Lewis 1837, 326). Only the W bell tower of the 19th century C of I church survives standing in the NE quadrant of a rectangular-shaped graveyard (WM025-011001-). The tall, narrow W tower dates from the 19th century and is well built with dressed stone. The arches of the doorways and the windows are now blocked up. The presence of four pointed pillars on the top corners of the bell tower give a battlement like appearance to the tower. The grass-covered foundations of the small rectangular levelled church can be seen to the E of the tower. A short distance to the SW of the post-medieval church are the grass covered remains of a possible medieval church site (WM025-011----). The site of a levelled R. C. chapel (WM025-154----) indicated on the Ordnance Survey six-inch map is located across the road, 40m S of the church and graveyard.
