The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a slight rise, in gently undulating, pasture. Ringfort (WM024-167----) lies c. 25m to ESE. Bivallate monument described in 1979 as a roughly circular-shaped area enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse, a berm, an outer bank and an outer fosse with entrance at SSW. The inner bank of earth and stone is wide and low and is set on a fairly steep natural scarp from WSW-W-WNW. There are slight remains of a shallow intervening fosse visible from NE-E, outside which is a flat berm varying in width from 4m at N and S to 10m at E. On the outer edge of the berm there is a low outer bank of earth and stone. An outer fosse is visible beyond this from S-SW-W-N-NE. The interior is very uneven with stony outcrops, low rises & shallow depressions.
