The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture and scrub. Bivallate monument described in 1971 and 1979 as a roughly circular-shaped area enclosed by an inner bank, a wide and deep intervening fosse and an outer bank with entrance gap at E. The inner earth and stone bank is substantial and incorporates some large stones and the remains of internal stone facing in places. It has several disturbance gaps and is much disturbed by badger burrows. There is a large modern gap at N. The outer bank is substantial and incorporates some large stones. Old field walls cut through the outer bank and fosse at E and intersect the inner bank, where it is slightly disturbed as a result. There is a complex of fragmentary wall footings and stone mounds within the interior. The monument is largely obscured by dense vegetation.
