The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a rocky scrub-covered knoll, in undulating rough pasture, with excellent views of the surrounding landscape. Monument described in 1970s as an oval-shaped area enclosed by a low stone bank that has been cut away on the exterior in places. There is no visible trace of an external fosse or an original entrance feature. The interior is uneven due to rock outcrop. A house site (WM024-120001-) is located in the SE quadrant.
Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
