The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle rise, on the S-facing slope of a hill, in pasture, with good views to E, S and W. Monument described in 1971 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 28m E-W; 21m N-S) enclosed by a low steep bank best preserved at SE and almost reduced to a scarp elsewhere where it is slightly defaced in several places by cattle. No visible trace of an external fosse and no clear entrance feature visible. The interior has a very slight E-facing slope and the remains of cultivation ridges running E-W. A bank of earth and stone intersects the ringfort bank at SSW and another similar field boundary bank intersects at ENE.
