The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle rise, in pasture, with wide views of the surrounding landscape. Monument described in 1979 as a roughly circular-shaped area enclosed by a scarp and a wall. The earthen scarp is present from NE-E-S and a ruined wall is visible from SW-W-N. There is an entrance at NW. The interior is largely occupied by a long house site (WM024-109001-). There is an area of collapsed stones immediately inside the perimeter wall at N, which may represent another structure. Old field banks form a number of small enclosures outside to E. Site levelled as modern quarry now located in area where ringfort was located.

See attached plan and profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
