The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a prominent hill, in pasture, with good views to SW, NW and NE and overlooked by Ushnagh Hill to ESE. Monument described in 1971 and 1977 as a roughly oval-shaped area (dims. 61m ENE-WSW; 48m NNW-SSE) enclosed by a bank. The low bank has numerous small disturbance gaps and is almost reduced to a scarp from W-WNW. There is no visible trace of an external fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. The interior has a gentle SW-facing slope and rises gently towards the centre. There are rock outcrops and natural depressions within the NE quadrant and there are old cultivation ridges running N-S.
