The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a fairly level platform, on the W-facing slope of a hill, in pasture. Annotated ‘Templum Flanni’ on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and depicted as a small rectangular-shaped structure aligned E-W. Building described in 1978 as a small rectangular-shaped structure (dims. 13m E-W; 5m N-S) defined by low grass covered wall-footings with a small section of the S wall (H 1.5-2m) best preserved. A scatter of loose stone lies inside and outside the monument. There is no visible trace of any decorated or cut stone. There is no trace of a surrounding enclosure.
