The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a hill, in flat pasture, with good views from S-W. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and depicted as a small rectilinear earthwork outlined by a scarp, c. 100m to W of Ardnagragh Castle (WM023-034----). Monument described in 1983 as a linear scarp (L 10-15m) running N-S located to W of castle (WM023-034----).
