The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a W-facing slope with good views from S-W-N and restricted to E. Monument described in 1978 as a subrectangular-shaped area (dims. 52m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The low earth and stone bank is best defined from N-E-S. The fosse is visible from E-SE. A depression within the N corner of the earthwork appears to be due to modern quarrying. There is a shallow fosse on the interior of the bank at SW. In the S sector of the monument, an L shaped bank with a shallow fosse on its N side may indicate a possible house site (WM023-014001-). A wide low bank extends from the monument at NNW. Only the outline of this levelled monument is visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
See attached plan of monument surveyed and drawn by ASI.
