Situated on top of a prominent rise, in pasture, with excellent views to E, SW and N. Depicted on the current edition OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork (dims. 47m NW-SE; 27m NE-SW). Monument visible as a tree-lined enclosure on Digital Globe aerial photography.
