The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle WSW-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument described in 1970 as the quarried remains of a roughly circular shaped area (diam. 32m) enclosed by a steep bank which is almost reduced to a scarp. The bank appears to have been steepened NW-N. There is no visible trace of an outer fosse. The perimeter and much of the interior have been quarried away from N-NE and from ENE-E-S-WSW. There is no visible trace of an entrance. The interior has a gentle WSW-facing slope and an uneven surface. A low, broad ridge running NW-SE extends across the interior and through the centre and may be remains of an internal partition. A modern laneway flanks the monument from NW-N-NE. Partial remains of monument may be visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
