The National Monuments Service's description
Described in an earlier site visit as following: 'Completely obliterated. Probably a rath. Apart from the siting on a steep round-topped natural hillock, there is no indication on the ground as to what it was. Withered weeds grow on the site. Situated on gently undulating land of average pasture. Good views from the site' (SMR File). Depicted on OS 6-inch map as an oval-shape earthwork delimited by a scarp and with some trees groing on it.
