The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating and hilly pasture, with good views to the SE. Annotated 'fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan and depicted map as a circular earthwork (WM017-106----) defined by a bank and fosse with a small circular hut site within the interior. Within S quadrant of levelled ringfort (WM017-106----) are the possible remains of a levelled hut site, visible today as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark (approx. dims. 13m NW-SE; 14m NE-SW) on Digital Globe aerial photography.
