The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise surrounded by gently undulating grassland. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 37m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (H 1m), bisected by a recently constructed roadway running E-W. This roadway (Wth 2.5m; D 2m) has been sunk into the interior of the ringfort and has cut through a souterrain (WM017-009001-). Monument placed on the Register of Historic Monuments, Iris Oifigiúil, 11 November 1983.
