The National Monuments Service's description
The remains of a roughly-circular tree-lined enclosure which could be the remains of a possible ringfort are visible on OSI 2005 aerial photograph (pers. comm. C. McCormack). Depicted as a small polygonal-shaped field on all editions of the OS 6-inch map. Cloncullen House located 260m to the SE. This enclosure may be a ringfort that was reused as a small field or landscape feature associated with nearby Cloncullen House. Alternatively it may have been constructed originally as a landscape feature by the residents of Cloncullen House in the post-medieval period. Not depicted as an antiquity on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps.
