The National Monuments Service's description
This site was surveyed and described in 1971 when it recorded that this site consisted of a ' circular uneven enclosure (int. diam. 33.8m NW-SE; 31.8m NE-SW) with a general slope from NW-SE, bounded by a well defined earth and stone bank. There is no definite trace of masonry. No visible trace of a fosse. The bank is much defaced in several places by small disturbance gaps. The original entrance way is not recognisable. A modern NW-SE stone wall extends just outside the back from W to S. The interior has traces of ENE-WSW cultivation ridges. Sited on a slight W slope of a prominent hill of good pasture. Good views to the W and N. A large stone protrudes in the interior'(SMR file).
