The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a small prominent rise surrounded by gently undulating grassland. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a small circular-shaped enclosure. This site has been much disturbed by quarrying. All that remains of the monument is a sub-circular shaped area defined by a scarp, with the slight remains of a bank at N and SE, the perimeter having been levelled from NNE-ESE. A depression in the centre of the interior may represent the remains of a souterrain (WM016-020001-). The S half of the site has been levelled by the construction of a later, small sub-rectangular shaped enclosure (approx. dims. 16.5m N-S x 18m E-W), enclosed by an earth and stone bank.
