The National Monuments Service's description

The precise location of a medieval mill in the townland of Inchmore has not been identified. This mill is mentioned in 1625 in an Inquisition Post Mortem into the estate of the deceased Theobald Dillon which lists as part of his possessions 'half of the island of Inshmore in the said lough, containing fifteen acres, with a water-mill called Mollinglassan' (Lodge 1789, 179).
