The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low natural ridge. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a circular shaped enclosure annotated as ‘fort’. All that remains now is a low irregular ridge which has been substantially quarried into. No visible trace of the monument at this location which appears to have been quarried away.
