The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the S facing slope of a ridge with good views to the SW. Trivallate ringfort consisting of a sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 48m N-S; 42m E-W) enclosed by three earth and stone banks, and two well defined intervening fosses. The inner bank is low and poorly preserved and has been dug into in the N quadrant. The middle bank is disturbed from NW-NE, and the outer bank is visible from S-W only. From W-N all that remains of the outer bank is a core of boulders. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.4m) in the inner bank, a causeway across the inner fosse (Wth 3.4m; H 0.35m) and a gap in the middle bank (Wth 2.8m) at E. A field fence running NW-SE intersects the E side of the monument.
