The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise of ground, in grassland, 90m WNW of Edmondstown House. 420 ft. Ordnance Datum marks site of earthwork. A square shaped area (approx. dims. 16m) enclosed by a very low earthen bank and a slight, shallow external fosse. The interior contains slight hollow depressions of unknown antiquity. No earthwork visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. No antiquity marked at this location on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. Possibly the remains of a tree-ring of post 1700 date associated with the landscaped demesne of Edmondstown House. A small cluster of trees are depicted at this location on the 1911 ed. OS 6-inch map.
