The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at S end of low ridge overlooking Ballynagall Lough which has been drained 50m to SW with good views of the surrounding countryside. Kilmaglish graveyard (WM012-122001-) and chapel (WM012-122----) 200m to NW. Cultivation ridges running roughly N-S in field immediately to N. Raised oval-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 30m NW-SE) defined by a low bank mainly reduced to a scarp. The interior is uneven with a shallow hollow depression in N quadrant which could be the result of post-1700 quarrying. No entrance feature visible. Outline of monument clearly visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. Monument not depicted on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps.
