The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a natural rise in gently undulating grassland. The ground rises slightly from N-E-S, and falls steeply from the site on the other sides. Toberallen Church (WM012-180----) and churchyard (WM012-180002-) lies 175m to NW. Ringfort (WM012-182---) 180m to SSE. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a circular shaped enclosure annotated ‘fort’, with a gravel pit outside the bank at NW. This ringfort has been partially levelled on E side as depicted on the revised 1911 ed. OS 6-inch map. Remains consist of a raised circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 32m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and fosse best preserved from SW-W-N-NNE and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. A field fence running NE-SW intersects the perimeter of the monument at SW.
