The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a steep rise in grassland, with good views from W-NW. Ringfort (WM012-142----) 100m to N. A large sub-circular shaped slightly raised area (approx. diam. 57m NW-SE; 61m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a wide, very shallow external fosse. The bank has been reduced to a scarp in places. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.6m) at NE. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running WNW-ESE across the interior, which rises towards the centre.
