The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a small prominent hillock in undulating countryside with commanding views in all directions. Ringfort (WM012-157----) lies 220m to SE. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a circular-shaped enclosure annotated ‘Rathcloghrin’. Poorly preserved ringfort which has been substantially levelled and is now visible as a circular shaped area (approx. diam. 25m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) defined by a scarp. The perimeter has been quarried away from W-NNW and at SSE-SW.
