The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a steep rise in gently undulating grassland. A slightly raised circular shaped area (approx. diam. 20m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earth and stone bank and a slight external fosse which is visible at NE and SW. A field fence running NE-SW intersects the perimeter of the monument at SE. This site is now covered in trees as shown on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. Depicted as a bivallate ringfort on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map and as a univallate monument intersected at SE by a 19th century field boundary on the revised 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map.
See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
