The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on NE facing slope of a large ridge in grassland, overlooked by higher ground from NE-E. Ringfort (WM012-090----) 155m to W. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a circular shaped earthwork with some trees on the perimeter and annotated as a ‘fort’. Poorly preserved site visible as a circular shaped area (approx. diam. 47m NE-SW; 42m NW-SE) enclosed by a low poorly preserved earthen bank and external fosse. The perimeter has been incorporated into a field fence which curves outwards from N-E. Outline of monument clearly visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
