The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on low marshy ground. Ringfort (WM012-072---) 80m to W. This site has been badly disturbed and largely destroyed by quarrying. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 23.4m NNW-SSE) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a wide fosse. The low bank (H 0.25m) is fragmentary, while the external fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.5m) is visible only from S-SW-WSW and at NNW. The interior rises slightly towards the centre and has traces of cultivation ridges. Drains and water channels are visible outside the monument at N and E. Several quarry holes are visible in the interior.
