The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the top of a low ridge in grassland. Ringfort (WM012-051---) 100m to N, second ringfort (WM012-053---) 80m to SSW. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank and deep external fosse. The bank has been reduced to a scarp from SE-S-SW, and the fosse is best defined from NW-NE, and partially infilled elsewhere. The perimeter and part of the interior has been quarried away from NE-SE. The interior slopes slightly to the SE, and contains traces of cultivation ridges running E-W.
See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
