The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the N face of the summit of a prominent hill in grassland, overlooked by higher ground to W. A large circular-shaped, slightly raised area (approx. diam. 43m NW-SE; 41m NE-SW) enclosed by a substantial earth and stone bank with a slight fosse and entrance gap (Wth 1.8m) at S. The bank is best preserved from ESE-S-SW (Wth 3.7m; Int. H 0.1m at E), and is fragmentary or levelled to a slight scarp elsewhere. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running across the interior from NE-SW. A field fence running NNW-SSE originally intersected the monument from NE-E. The site is now almost completely surrounded by a quarry which is visible on Digital Globe aerial photographs taken November 2011.

See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
