The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at NE end of Lough Iron 25m W of the E shoreline but now on reclaimed land due to the Inny River drainage scheme of the late 1960s. Possible conjoined crannóg (WM011-167----) 65m to W and second crannóg (WM011-166----) 95m to NNW. Low circular rocky rise (H 0.3m; top diam. 8m N-S x 5.5m E-W) of ground surrounded by rushy land.
