The National Monuments Service's description

Kilmacnevan monastic site placed on the Register of Historic Monuments in 1989. Extract from Iris Oifigiúil 25th April 1989. Possible base and ringed head of a high cross standing in S quadrant of graveyard (WM011-115001-) which contains the ruins of Kilmacnevan Church (WM011-015---) both of which are enclosed by an Early Christian ecclesiastical enclosure (WM011-115002-). Lying on the surface of the graveyard is the head of a ringed cross of possible 10th-11th century date. Nearby is a circular stone with a hole in the centre, probably a base for this cross.

See attached plan of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
