The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in an area of grassland with good views all around. Burke's Bridge and stream 20m to SSW. The road which marks the townland boundary with Moyleroe Big is 5m to NW. A flat-topped earthen mound (H 2.4m) with gently sloping sides. This mound is situated in an area where a complex of buildings is marked on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. Doubtful antiquity.
