The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight natural rise surrounded by gently undulating grassland, with good views from NW-E-S. The corner of the townland boundary with Paristown is 120m to SW. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam 29m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank. The interior rises slightly towards the centre, and contains several low banks and hollows, and also traces of cultivation ridges.
