The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low hillock in undulating grassland with good views. Lough Nacarrick and castle (WM009-091---) 100m NNE and 240m NE respectively. Ringfort (WM008-89----) and glebe land of church 190m to SW. Church (WM008-090---) ruins standing in S quadrant of D-shaped graveyard (approx. dims. 38m NE-SW x 63m NW-SE) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall, accessed through a gateway and stile in the SE corner. On the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map the boundary wall is depicted as a polygonal shaped structure. On the revised 1911 ed. OS 6-inch map the boundary wall is depicted as a D-shaped wall with straight side at S. The graveyard contains post-1700 headstone and two architectural fragments belonging to the church ruins possibly reused as gravemarkers. The base of a medieval font (WM008-090003-) is also present in the E quadrant of the graveyard. The area outside the graveyard on all sides has recently been ploughed & no features are visible outside the wall.
