The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the E face of a prominent hillock in undulating grassland. Bog 500m to N. Ringfort (WM008-065---) 280m to NE. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 31m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and slight external fosse. The bank has been dug away at ENE. The fosse is only visible at -N-NNW. The interior of the ringfort slopes from E-W and has traces of cultivation ridges running NNE-SSW across the interior. The remains of a rectangular house (WM008-064001-) are visible in the W quadrant. A slight depression extending to E from this house may represent the remains of a souterrain (WM008-064002-).
