The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on SSE face of a prominent hill in grass-land, with excellent views from NE-E-S-SW. Ringfort (WM008-049----) 300m to SE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 27m NW-SE; 25.5m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and external fosse. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.7m) and causeway (Wth 5m; H 0.25m) across the fosse at SE. The interior slopes from N-S and contains shallow irregular hollows which appear to be natural features. Visible as a very faint crop mark on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
