The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in pasture-land on the SE face of a natural rise, with wide views of the surrounding countryside, overlooked by a high hill to the W. Ringfort (WM008-022----) 170m to SW. Ringfort (WM008-024----) 195m to NE. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 26m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and slight fosse. There is a possible entrance gap at E. The interior has traces of cultivation ridges in the N quadrant which run NW-SE. The remains of a rectangular hut site (WM008-023001-) consisting of low earthen banks and adjoining square enclosure are visible in the interior.
