The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a natural hillock in undulating pasture-land, with excellent views in all directions. Ringfort (WM008-016----) 200m to NW. Depicted as an oval shaped enclosure on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. This site has been levelled, now visible as a raised oval shaped area (approx. diam. 28m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a band of vegetation (Wth 3.5m). A pair of conjoined hut sites (WM008-019001-) are visible as a cropmark in the centre of the levelled monument.
