The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in pasture-land on E facing slope of rising ground with good views from N-E-SE, overlooked by a hill to W. Ringfort (WM007-095----) 37m to S. A slightly raised oval shaped area (approx. diam. 21m NW-SE), enclosed by a well preserved earth and stone bank (max. H 1m) and wide deep external fosse (max. D 2m). Causewayed entrance gap at E. Sub-circular shaped hut site (WM007-094001-) in centre of interior.
