The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in pasture-land on the S facing slope of a prominent hill with good views of the surrounding hills to E, S & W. A sub-circular shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 29m NNW-SSE; 26.6m ENE-WSW) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank with several disturbance gaps and a wide flat-bottomed external fosse. The interior slopes slightly from N-S and has vague traces of cultivation ridges.
