The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in pasture-land on the NE face side of a high prominent ridge which runs NW-SE, with extensive views from NW-N-E. Ringfort (WM007-030----) 280m to SE. A circular area (approx. diam. 28m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by a well preserved earth and stone bank, narrow shallow fosse, best preserved at S and almost completely filled in elsewhere. Possible entrance gap (Wth 2.3m) at NE. The interior slopes appreciably from SW-NE, and contains a series of banks and a long sub-rectangular depression which could be the remains of a possible hut site or the result of post-medieval quarrying.

See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI in 1975.
