The National Monuments Service's description
Thirteenth century font (dims. H 0.83m; Wth 0.63m) located inside the door of St. Feichin's church (WM004-035003-) on the N. Fossiliferous limestone font with circular basin (Diam. 0.46m) resting on a square columnar shaft which rises from a low square chamfered base. Moulded corners extend from the basin onto the shaft. These may originally have been decorated with heads but they are very weathered. The central drainage hole retains its lead lining (Bradley et. al. 1985, 79; Roe 1968, 117).
