The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight SE facing slope surrounded by gently undulating land with extensive views to the E, S & W. A sub-triangular shaped area with straight side at W enclosed by and earth and stone bank with traces of an external fosse best preserved from S-W. Entrance gap at E. The interior slopes gently from NW-SE and is subdivided by low earthen banks. The outline of a possible rectangular house (WM030-040001-) is visible in the centre of the ringfort with a second, smaller rectangular house (WM030-040002-) adjoining the bank on the S side.
